Counts are context for coaching and planning, not a performance score. Turn counts rise with ticket complexity and debugging.
1. Create your personal token
Each person creates their own token. It identifies you, so never share it or commit it.
Copy it now. It won't be shown again.
Your tokens
| Name | ID | Created | Last used | Expires |
|---|
2. Add the token to your checkout
Like .nvmrc, the repo carries a committed .ceirc. Your token goes in .ceirc.local next to it, which git ignores. Save this as .ceirc.local:
{ "apiUrl": "…", "token": "cei_pat_…" }
Or keep it in your OS keychain for every repo: echo 'cei_pat_…' | cei login --api …
The collector refuses a .ceirc.local that git tracks, and only ever sends the token to the API host named in the file.
3. Repo files (a lead commits these once)
.ceirc
.claude/settings.json enables the plugin for everyone who opens the repo in Claude Code:
.gitignore
.ceirc.local
4. Track a ticket
/ticket-start PROJ-142 bug # types: bug, story, task, spike, chore, incident …work with Claude… /ticket-finish # or: /ticket-finish paused | blocked | abandoned
